THE JIM JENSEN CAMPAIGN IS BASED UPON THE FOLLOWING THREE VALUES: INTEGRITY PERSPECTIVE LEADERSHIP

INTEGRITY

As an officer of the law, I have to make decisions every day about how to uphold the law and do the right thing. At times, I have had to ticket or arrest people who I know and care about. I have learned that I cannot base decisions about right or wrong on my personal feelings. I need to make decisions rooted in the law. As a lawmaker, this same principle applies. I will not become a politician who gets into office and advances my agenda. I will make laws based on what works for the middle class, not what is best for the wealthy and well-connected.

PERSPECTIVE

As a community member, I’ve put my values and concerns into action—I’ve served in numerous capacities such a school board member, DARE officer, and volunteer fire fighter and EMT. I will take the role of a good neighbor to St. Paul as I listen to your perspective and serve our district.

LEADERSHIP

I have a proven track-record of taking charge and leading, without being condescending and overbearing. As a school board member, DARE officer, three-term president of the local Lion’s Club, Taekwondo black-belt, and husband and father of five my leadership skills are effective and well polished.

Why Politics? Now is the time to get involved! Politicians make decisions about the schools your kids attend, policies that reduce or expand jobs and make food more or less affordable. These issues make a real impact on your life. More than ever, we need you to ask questions and choose candidates who share our values. I am Jim Jensen, and I am running for office because I care about Minnesota families and will be a voice for your concerns in St. Paul.
